Room 212 Gallery, 212 Gloucester Rd, Bristol BS7 8NU
12 - 25 March daily (open 10-6)
video screenings every evening (7-8pm)
Tamarin Norwood’s paper drawings are made by drawing, writing, sewing, cutting and folding; presenting the page as something flickering and unfinished. Her work is playfully minimal, with type-written papers and quiet, closely observed pencil drawings which seem to hold back as much as they tell. The works on paper are accompanied by found objects, translated texts and video work, which balance somewhere between image and language in the hope of dissolving the distinction between the two. A related programme of short videos by the artist is screened every evening.
