Below are details of my solo exhibition what the point is : the end of the line at SE8 gallery, opening this evening in London. Further details are here; installation photos to follow.
SE8 Gallery is pleased to present what the point is : the end of the line, an exhibition of new work British artist Tamarin Norwood. The body of work functions as an essay in sculptural form, composed of drawing, video and assembled objects. Norwood develops a chain of analogies between the tip of the pencil, the first person singular, the line of sight and the I-beam cursor. It asks: how is the object answered by its representation, and how is the subject consoled by it?
