South London Gallery

Writing Residency 2008-09

MFA Art Writing practitioners from Goldsmiths, University of London, have taken up roles as art writers-in-residence at the South London Gallery (SLG) as part of a collaboration between the two institutions.

Writers-in-residence for the year are Julia Calver, Patrick Coyle, Cressida Kocienski, Claire Nichols, Tamarin Norwood and Gemma Sharpe.

MFA Art Writing is a new course, launched in September 2008, and is the first in the world dedicated solely to art writing; tailored specifically for practitioners who want to develop work that addresses art as writing, writing as art and writing about art.
