In her essay “Experience and the Expectancy of Speech”, Kate Love wrote “I decided to see if I could write as I might draw […] . It has always struck me that the process of drawing is not so much structured by a sense of mastery or closure but rather is led by a sense of trying to get closer to what you ‘think you might already know’”. These seven pieces attempt to question the dividing-line between writing and drawing and exploring the relative freedoms of drawing and writing.
