30 objects were selected according to shape and photographed so that each circle appears the same size on the print. The photographs are arranged according to the colour of each finished print.

 

Here the criteria for selection concentrated on form at the expense of any other meaning or function associated with each object. The relation of size between the objects was rejected in favour of the uniform relation of size between the circle and the edges of the photograph. Finally, any real-world properties of the objects are rejected in the arrangement of the photographs, as their ordering is determined by the relative overall colour of each print, often determined by lighting conditions or exposure settings at the moment of shooting.
